🔧 Troubleshooting
-
VPN section missing?
Some Tenda models have VPN client hidden. Try updating your router firmware to the latest version from tenda.com.
-
Can't connect to VPN?
Make sure MPE Encryption is OFF. Try setting MTU to 1492 in advanced settings. Also verify your username and password from your personal account.
-
ISP blocking PPTP?
Some providers block PPTP. Try using L2TP instead (if supported) or contact your ISP about "Static IP" service.
-
Alternative firmware
If stock firmware doesn't work, consider installing OpenWRT on supported Tenda models for advanced VPN options.
